(And.... another repost. Brown is me, pink/normal (she switched halfway through xD) is Zelda.)

The two, Pokémon and trainer, emerged from one forest and found their eyes on another, across the wide field. The end of the forest marked the end of the laboratory's land, and already, in the openness, with the field stretching for what must have been a mile ahead of them and the clear sky looming above, they could easily feel the vastness of the world around them - and their tiny selves in comparison. But perhaps that was how both of them liked it.
Kale's amber eyes scanned the wide plains, a hand held over his head to shield his eyes from the sunlight that glinted, the color of the grass which was ubiquitous over the flat land. The normally calm boy couldn't help, for the umpteenth time that day, beaming with excitement. He had left home to find something different, and he had certainly found it.
"Looks like it's going to be a long journey," he commented. "Well, let's get started now." He walked forwards and the Ponyta followed, its pelt blazing in the open air. All of the sudden, Kale stopped and turned, staring at the Pokémon, who met his gaze with a curious - and nervous - look.
"Hey, what do you think about the name Token?" queried the boy. "I think it fits you." His expression had gone from one of joy to one of great seriousness, for he treated even the light matter as a thing of importance. Ponyta's expression returned to normal, and he gave a casual snort of approval. The smile returned.
"Okay then, Token, let's head out," announced the seventeen-year old, and the two resumed their traversing of the field.

The girl was panting. She was complaining about her blonde curls getting all sweaty, and she made Psyduck walk, which the Pokémon obliged. They walked side by side, Psyduck slightly ahead of its trainer. "Psy!" it called when it spotted Kale and Token. Anne snapped her head up, and stopped dragging her feet. The girl snatched up the Psyduck and hurried to catch up with the trainer. "Maybe he can help us," Anne murmured to her Pokémon. The water Pokémon scoffed and shook her head. Anne laughed. "You actually want to battle that guy? Pssh!" Psyduck kicked its legs like a child throwing a temper tantrum. She finally lost her energy not far from the boy and called out, "Hey! Wait!" Psyduck glared at her, then she added, "We want a battle!"
At the sound of the girl's voice, Kale turned around, Token only turning his head to look back at the approaching girl and Psyduck. Seeing how tired the girl seemed to be, Kale patted Ponyta on the shoulder. "Come on," he said gently, and the equine Pokémon turned around and began following him as he moved towards the two approaching.
"Why do you want a battle?" he called in question. From the path the girl was taking, he guessed she had probably just come from the lab - just like him. But he found it strange for so new a trainer (if his guess was correct) would be so urged to battle. Still, he figured, in the excitement of getting a Pokémon an aspiring trainer may well want to test themselves untrained. And he didn't mind humoring a young girl.

"Well, I wanted to see how well my new Pokémon would do in a real battle." she said, attempting to put on a little charm. "Your Ponyta looks..." she paused. "...tough." The girl twisted her hair in her slender, pale fingers. She batted her eyelashes, which made Psyduck roll her eyes. It jumped from her arms and looked at the Ponyta. "Psy. Psyduck, psy psyduck!" ~I don't think it'd be fair if I battled you... You're limping!~ The Pokémon turned to look at her trainer, shaking its head. Anne ignored it.
Kale watched with a bemused expression as the girl tried to, apparently, scam her way into battling. Ponyta, on the other hand, snorted stubbornly at the Psyduck. And I don't think it would be fair if I battled you, you're barely a tenth of my size! it responded, annoyed to be thought of as weak even if it was because the other Pokémon was trying to be considerate.
"Well, are you up to it?" asked his trainer, and he responded again with a snort. Kale turned back to the girl. "I'll battle you, on the condition that it's a friendly match. We don't fight until the other Pokémon faints. That should serve your purpose fine. Are we agreed?" He had to admit, though he wasn't so keen on the battling part of Pokémon, he did want to see what he and Token could do. As long as both were up for it, it was worth a shot.

Psyduck shrugged. ~I guess we're even.~ It turned back to nod to Anne, and she stepped back a couple steps. She tossed golden locks over her shoulder, saying, "Fine. Those terms sound fair to me." The girl took a deep breath. My first battle...One step closer to Ash... she thought, and nodded. Both minds were racing, a same thought was: We have to win.
We have to win.
We have to win.
Kale stepped back as well, leaving Ponyta standing as tall and proud as he could. His reasons were similar to those of his opponents, even as they seemed different. He had to prove himself to his trainer, to his opponents, to everyone. Show them that he didn't have to be only as good as his hurt leg. Show them that he could be every bit as proud as any other Pokémon.
"Let's go, then," replied Kale, the bemused expression immediately dropping off his face to be replaced by the serious one he so often wore. "Be careful, Token," he said softly, brushing the horse's flank as he moved out of the way. The two stayed silent and still, waiting for the other team to make a move - or none at all.

Anne at first, did nothing, expecting Psyduck to start. But Psyduck waited loyally for the first command. The girl took a deep breath, then said as confidentally as she could, "Psyduck, use scratch!"
The Pokemon sprung into action, waddling as fast as it could towards the fire type.

(xD I'm imagining Token's expression as he sees a weird duck thing waddling towards him with the intent of scratching him. )
As Psyduck headed towards him, the Ponyta tensed as he began automatically reacting. Then suddenly, he relaxed a bit and looked over his shoulder at his trainer, a slightly confused look on his face.
"Token, use quick attack!" called Kale quickly, realizing that the Ponyta was waiting for him - and not wanting the equine Pokémon to be looking away from the oncoming opponent. Hearing the instruction, Token turned his head again and began dashing towards the other picking up speed as his powerful hooves drove into the ground - well, mostly. He pressed as lightly as possible on his injured foot, trying to neither stumble nor veer from the imbalance.

Psyduck wasn't fast enough, and took the attack. The duck Pokémon got right back up, though. I better have Psyduck go for the weak leg... Anne thought. This battling stuff is easier than I thought. As long as Psyduck hangs in there.
The water Pokémon tried scratch again, without Anne's command, and when she yelled, "Go for the weak leg!" It quickly changed direction, right at Ponyta's weak leg.
[xD That would be slightly humorous.]

"Look out Token!" cried Kale as the Psyduck quickly changed its target. However, the horse Pokémon didn't have time to get out of the way as the duck approached faster than Kale would have thought possible (xD).
Ponyta reared up as the scratch hit its mark, whinnying loudly. "Token, down!" called his trainer, and with vengeance appearing in its eyes, the Ponyta bore its weight down and brought itself down again, aiming its uninjured front leg at the Psyduck.
(Oh, how I wish Ponyta knew stomp right now. xD)

Psyduck didn't expect Ponyta to counter attack, and covered her head with her flipper-wings. (xD) The Ponyta's hooves hit, and it was all over. The duck Pokémon rolled over, beak wide open and eyes all swirls. Anne cried out with frustration. "No! I lost my first Pokémon battle! Not fair! I want a redo!" she shouted furiously. The girl returned her Pokémon to its Pokéball, then frowned. I lost...I'll never be famous if I keep losing... she thought, ready to throw a pity party.
"Good job, Token," said Kale softly. "Return." He held out a Pokéball and the horse Pokémon vanished into it. Kale didn't want its leg to get hurt more by walking, and it could probably use a good rest.
"Hey, you did pretty well, targeting Ponyta's weak spot and all," called Kale to the younger girl, walking over. He didn't add that he was annoyed that she had done so, figuring that what's done was done. "I know. Why don't we go up to the Merchandise Booth?" he asked in a gentle voice. "It's not far, and we can get potions for our Pokémon."
(So much for stopping before a Pokémon faints. >.< Kale broke his own rules! xD)

ooc; Almost forgot. ^^ Token gets 6 LR's! =D And I guess Psyduck doesn't get any. ;_; xD

Anne nodded, though still upset. "Sure. But I'm still tired..." she complained under her breath. The girl straightened her skirt, then started to walk once more, her feet dragging. Anne yawned, and noticed the sun starting to set. "Oh, it's going to get dark soon... I thought I'd be in the next town by now..."

(Aww.... now I feel bad for Psyduck. )
"Maybe they'll have a bench up there," said Kale, falling in behind the girl and letting her lead the way. At her final statement, he glanced upwards. "Yep... I can't believe the day went by so quickly!" he sighed happily, oblivious to the qualms of Anne. "Hmm, I wonder if you have to do something so Pokémon don't attack you during the night," he pondered to himself, obviously planning on sleeping outside. "I wouldn't much want a Weedle to fall on my head in the night, or something. But maybe that would be good practice..." he continued mumbling excitedly under his breath to himself as he tried to debate with himself.

Anne shrugged hopefully about that bench that was supposed to be up there, then she squealed and whipped around when he mentioned the Weedle. "I hate BUGS!" she yowled, her face going pale. "Ewewewewewewewew!" The girl hugged herself, jumping up and down in terror at the thought of bug Pokémon.
( xD )
( xD )
Kale blinked at the girl, having no idea why she was overreacting so strongly. "Bugs really aren't that bad," he said, hoping it might console her. "Except the venomous ones, those are annoying. That's why I'd rather the Weedles keep away." He smiled brightly, unknowing that he was just as likely to scare Anne more than reassure her with his words. "Didn't you have bugs back where you came from?" he queried.
"Aaaaaaaaaaah! Poisonous?!?!" she squealed again. She took a few seconds to recover, then Anne then looked at him with a weird expression. "Me? You really think I would have bugs in my house? My first class house?!" She laughed dryly, throwing her head back. The girl shook her head after stopping, still smiling. "That's funny."
She then continued to walk again, stopping for a second when she reached the mouth of the forest Nieyena. The sun was halfway down then, the sky a dark pink-orange color. "Stay away little buggies...Please..." she whispered to herself.

"Ahh..." Kale stared back at the girl, a little at a loss for words. He scratched his head, thinking. He had surely had plenty of bugs back on the farm (though the animals they kept helped to keep their numbers down), and so he thought of bugs as more of a form of counting sheep then a disturbance and plague. He, too, shook his head, sighing and giving up on trying to understand.
"Wow, the sunset is beautiful here," he murmured softly, moving his hand across the Pokéball on his belt. "Maybe you won't have to worry about bugs, they might all be watching the sunset!" he added, half in jest but half in sincerity.

Anne shrugged. "Whatever. Let's just go." she muttered, continuing to walk, feet aching. She had no idea how long she had been walking, but it had to have been a long way. She tossed some blonde curls over her shoulder, and shook her head, hair bouncing delicately. The forest grew thicker and thicker, seeping onto the dirt path at times. There were more and more noises, causing Anne to occasionally squeal lightly. She checked to make sure Kale was there behind her every few minutes.
The girl was out of breath, and it was getting dark. She stopped, and turned to Kale. "It's really dark, and I can't see well. But where can I sleep?"

Kale shrugged, after having walked in silence all this way. "Well, I doubt there'll be much space here, the forest is fairly thick. I suppose that any open spot will do fine - I'd avoid the bushes though, some of them might have sharp leaves," he counseled. "But we should probably find a place to settle down soon, before we start tripping over ourselves - and everything else," he added after stumbling a bit over a stray route. As darkness fell, Anne's outline in front of him began to blur, and he guessed it would probably be best for the two of them to stay together for now.
He strayed off the path a bit, checking over his shoulder to make sure he wasn't too far that he would get lost. But only slightly off the path was a spot where the trees weren't quite so close together - though it still was fairly tight. "Hey, come over here," he called. "This spot might be okay. There's more room, and less chance for a bug to drop on our heads." He smiled brightly.

Anne squealed a bit at the thought of bugs. "Uhh, all right." she mumbled, and followed him over to the spot. But before she got to him, a something was in the way and she tripped, falling towards Kale. She screamed in suprise, and her hands found Kale's shoulder and stopped her fall. The thing she tripped on stirred, though, and an angry Spearow squawked at her. "I think it's mad..." she whispered. "But why was it sleeping on the ground?" It didn't really matter, though. It was angry, and Psyduck was tired. So was Token.
Kale stumbled in surprise as he suddenly found Anne falling on him, but he managed to keep his balance. He stared at her, puzzled, until he heard the squawk and his gaze shifty past her to the rather miffed-looking that seemed to have a rather sharp set of claws - he didn't even want to think about how hard that beak could chomp down on either of them.
He fingered the Pokéball at his waist for a moment before remembering what Anne had thought as well, that both of their Pokémon would be tired. Even if they were able to fight, in their condition they would probably be quickly outmatched - and it would be almost cruel to make them fight against such odds in their state. Still, he didn't much envy the idea of getting attacked by the birds. (xD Sorry, couldn't resist. Never actually seen the movie, but still...)
"You wouldn't happen to have any food, would you?" he asked in a soft voice, though he figured speaking quietly wouldn't do much to soothe the Pokémon after it had been tripped over. He lifted Anne and placed her fully upright again, finding himself wishing she weren't quite so heavy. Immediately he reached backwards and began rummaging through his backpack. I think I might have some bread or something in there, he thought, trying to feel around the clumps of clothing and other lightweight junk that he had stuffed in. I couldn't have forgotten to bring food, right? Although I did leave in a bit of a hurry... His other hand he kept out in front of him as if wielding a stick or something. In the absence of a conveniently-sized stick, it would really only have been somewhat useful if he happened to take martial arts, which he did not. At the moment, however, he was strongly considering that it might have been a prudent idea.
So his methods of fending it off were one-handed untrained fighting, throwing a piece of whatever unholy food might be languishing in either of their backpacks, or hoping it would just go away. Oh, and hoping that Anne had a better idea.
(Whee, a post of a fairly nice length for a chance! *is proud* =P)

Anne clutched the boy's arm tightly, scared to death. Her breathing was rather staggered, but she tried to conceal it. Her blonde waves fell into her face, and she slowly removed one hand from Kale to right it, before attatching to him again. She whimpered a little.
"I...umm...what about half of a health bar?" she whispered, barely audible.. "But would they go for it?"
The girl let go of the boy again to slowly open her backpack and pull out the snack. She hid the food behind her back, but it was too late. The Spearow she fell over spotted it, and attempted to charge at her, but its wing seemed injured from Anne's falling over it.

Kale jerked when the Spearow began its charge, but settled a bit when he saw that its wing appeared to be injured. "Poor thing, it looks like it's hurt," he said softly, for a moment forgetting that the bird Pokémon probably didn't have any qualms about attacking Anne and himself. Luckily, he remembered before he let his guard down too much. Even if this Pokémon and simply wounded and hungry, he couldn't risk letting Anne, himself, or their Pokémon get injured.
"Try tossing it a piece," he whispered, gently pushing Anne backwards as the Spearow attempted to charge them. Injured or not, he thought it best that they kept some distance while they were able.
"Try tossing it a piece," he whispered, gently pushing Anne backwards as the Spearow attempted to charge them. Injured or not, he thought it best that they kept some distance while they were able.
Poor thing?! she thought with a huff. That thing wants to kill me! The girl sighed, took a tiny bite out of the piece of food, just in case it'd be the last thing she'd ever eat. The wet tears on her cheeks began to dry, and with the passing of fear came determination. Anne took a deep breath, then threw the piece of food at the flock of Spearow. C'mon! Take it! Take it! she begged, holding her breath.
All the Spearow jumped when the food hit the ground in the middle of them, which caused Anne herself to jump as well. Then one daringly pecked at the snack, and when it went back for more, all of the birds hurried to get a bite. Feathers were flying as they all fought for the health bar. Anne's face lit up, and she turned to Kale. "I did it! I did it!" she cheered.
There was a loud squawk over all the others, and everyone turned to the injured Spearow, bleeding on one of its sides. It had been fighting for the food as well, but was pecked at by his own flock, rejected. The other Spearow shrugged to themselves, and continued their feeding frenzy.

Kale let out a sigh of relief when the Spearow devoured the small food with fervor, glad that it was the bar and not his hand that was being torn by the powerful beaks. It really wouldn't make a good start to get torn to pieces on his first day as a trainer. But though it seemed they would escape unscathed, it was a little disappointing, in a way. Now he knew that he might not be ready, be strong enough, for this journey which he had left on. One little change and his journey would have ended right there. But he was one who would truly prefer to die trying here than to give up and return home. At least then he'd get a little excitement. His attention returned with the injured Spearow's squawk. His brow wrinkled as he saw how the flock turned on the weakened member, unwilling to share any of their treat. With the Spearow all occupied with eating, Kale removed his backpack and dug through it more thoroughly, finally grasping a plastic bag with a hastily prepared peanut-butter sandwich in it. Keeping it behind his backpack, he opened the bag and ripped off the corner of the sandwich. He returned the bag into his backpack before poking the piece of sandwich around the side of his backpack, hoping that the injured Spearow might see it without any of the others, busy eating, noticing. All the Spearow seemed hungry, and with its injured wing that one might not be able to get food so easily - of course Kale didn't want it to starve. But he guessed that throwing the piece of sandwich would only result in the other birds chasing their wounded flock-mate away again, or having them come after himself and Anne again in search of even more food.
Anne pulled on Kale's sleeve. "Don't bother with it...It'll find food somewhere, like someone who dropped a bag of chips. Let's just get out of here before they find out about your sandwhich." she hissed. "And if you really must, hurry and feed it to the Spearow while the others aren't watching!"
The girl backed up a few steps, making sure she was a fair distance from the crazed flock. Her bright blue eyes showed annnoyance. One, because it was dark, two, they had only a sandwhich for food, and three, he was going to give part of the sandwhich to a bird that nearly pecked her to death.

"Or someone holding a bag of chips who'll get into trouble for it," responded Kale. He didn't envy anyone else who got into their situation. Still, he didn't want to get into that situation again himself, and he had to admit Anne was right. He gently tossed the corner of the sandwich near the Spearow before following Anne back a bit. Though the Spearow seemed content with their food, he didn't want to be close if they decided they liked human better.

The injured Spearow quickly scarfed down the food, and squawked with appreciation. By then, the bleeding had ceased, and it flapped his wing to test it. It winced a bit, but realized his wing righted itself, and flew away, leaving the flock behind.
She watched the Pokémon go, then looked at the flock, who had finished their meal. "Come on, let's just get out of here..." she hissed. The blonde grabbed his hand, and quietly snuck away from the angry (and probably still hungry) flock of Spearow.

This time, Kale obeyed Anne and followed her without protest - with the Spearow finishing their meal, he didn't want them to realize that the two humans still had some food left. A corner of a sandwich was one thing, but Kale wasn't so fond of going hungry. Of course, he wouldn't really mind searching the vegetation for something edible, but being new to the region he didn't want to poison himself so soon.
"We should probably find a place to sleep," he said. "Someplace a little safer than our last choice." The sun had fallen long ago, and the forest grew more treacherous at night: in the shadows, roots and brambles waited to trip the unwary trespasser, and it was hard to make out the shapes around them.

After about thirty minutes of aimlessly walking around, the girl let out an excited cry. Up ahead was a little clearing in the shape of a circle, it's diameter about ten feet or so. The big, full moon illuminated the whole area, so everything inside the clearing was visible. She hurried into the clearing and sprawled out on the ground, laughing. "We're alive!" she cried out loud, and looked up at the sky.
"Wow..." she murmured. "I've never really paid attention to the sky..." Anne put her backpack under her head, closed her eyes, imagined she had a nice, warm blanket.
Sleep enveloped her.
ooc; Should I have her wake up to like, some wild Pokémon? Or should it just be morning? =0

Kale followed the girl and lay his pack a short distance from hers, lying down and looking upwards. Late though it was, the moon shone with all its strength as it struggled to light the sky by itself. It seemed a perfect place for sleeping, almost to good to be true - the kind of thing you read about in fantasies. But everything in Moon Forest was a little different then it was back at home, so in a way it seemed like a fantasy.
He gazed at the sky for a while, watching the twinkling of the stars. Finally, he turned towards Anne. "Perhaps we should take turns keeping watch," he said in a quiet voice.
He saw, however, that she was already asleep, and sighed. It was late and they'd need their sleep. He'd just have to hope that now Spearow would come pecking at them in the night - he had to admit, he was pretty tired, too. He lay back again and closed his eyes.
It had been a long day. Two days ago he had left his home and traveled to Moon Forest. The journey had been wonderful, though he had to take a plane to cover the immense distance. The view from the sky was gorgeous, even if he couldn't see things in greater detail. And then, the next day, he'd walked through the lands that he'd spied from above. He got his first Pokémon and became a trainer - he'd even had his first battle!
'I wish all days were this long...' was his last thought before he, too, drifted off to sleep.
(Hmm... I don't know. Maybe just have them wake up.)

The first birds began to sing with the gray of dawn, and soon after, the whole forest was awake. The sun was climbing its way to the middle of the sky, trying to beat large, gray, heavy clouds coming from the west that threaten a rainy day.
The sun shone through her eyelids, forcing them to open. She at first didn't know where she was, and started to panic. Then last night all came back to her when she saw Kale a few feet away, asleep. She felt wet, and realized that dew had covered her, and she shivered. Anne yawned, and sat up, stretching a little. Her sense of hearing came to, and she started to hear the music of the wild. By the sound of it, she thought the trees were making the noises, because they came from every direction.
All of a sudden, the beautiful moment was ruined by a sharp pain in her stomach. Then a loud, frightening sound was heard, like a growl from a wild animal. The girl blushed, her face turning a deep red. I'm soooo hungry! she complained, and crawled over to Kale.
"Wake up...I'm starving!" she exclaimed, lightly punching his shoulder.

Kale nearly jumped up at her touch, then calmed significantly when he saw that it was just her. "I was expecting a Fearow this time," he joked, stretching. "I thought I heard something that sounded like a Pokémon I'd not want to meet, but I guess I was probably dreaming," he added, unaware that the source of the noise had been Anne.
He took a deep breath, enjoying the crisp morning air. Though it was still early in the day, the sun shone as strongly as the moon had the previous night, and Kale could feel its warmth seeping into his dew-soaked form. The clouds were ominous, but for now the sun had won.
He moved slowly, in spite of Anne's original protest, but with thought. Always a lover of the odd hours of the day, it didn't take long for Kale to become fully aware after sleep. Still, he chose to take things slow - after all, he sought quality, not quantity; he could spare a bit of time to get a higher level of detail from his surroundings.
But the prospect of food was too tempting to resist, and shortly he dug the cornerless sandwich out of his pack, removed it from the bag and split it in half. "I hope you like peanut butter," he said, handing one piece to Anne. "It's not much of a breakfast, but it's all we have and we need to eat. I don't know about you, but it's been a day since I last ate."
His stomach, too, had begun to rumble a little now that the prospect of food was near. And who was he to deny it? Sitting back, he began eating his much desired breakfast.

Anne murmured a quick 'thank you' as she was handed half of the sandwhich. She fought the urge to stuff it down, and took small bites, and chewed slowly, remembering what one of her health magazines said: 'The slower you eat, the less weight you gain' Wait, she thought, I could have sworn it said 'the less hungry you are'... Well, it might mean the same thing...
The blonde finished half of her sandwhich, then found a piece of paper in her backpack and wrapped it in the paper. "I'm going to save some...just in case..." Just in case we haven't found any food by noon... she finished. Or even by five o'clock... The girl added. "You should, too." Anne suggested to Kale. "We don't know when we're going to find more food..." Worry was starting to shadow in her bright blue eyes.

Kale nodded at Anne's advice. She was right, saving some would probably be the safest thing to do, even though they were hungry now. He finished part of his sandwich and returned the rest into the plastic bag, sealing it tightly. Without much food to start with, giving more away was not the wisest thing to do. He couldn't help think that Anne had been right: they should have just left and kept their food. But it was only a small piece of the sandwich, and that wouldn't spell the difference between life and death. It did, however, sound very good right now.
At Anne's words, he turned and pulled a folded piece of paper from his pack, unfolding it to reveal the map. He ran his finger across it, finally pinning it down somewhere in Nieyena Forest, not being able to accurately judge where they were. "I don't think we'll find much more food around here - at least, nothing that we'll be sure is edible and safe. Our bests bets would probably be to head back to the lab, which would mean climbing up the hill again, or trying the Merchandise Booth - it's run by a person, so there must be something there, too. We don't know exactly where it is from here, but if we keep looking we might find it. And we could try Kijan Lake, too, if we can find it. I don't know if that would have any food, unless you like fish and are very good at catching them without a rod."
He wasn't so fond of going back to the lab so soon, but he wasn't fond of starvation, either. Even if it meant a bit of embarrassment, wherever would guarantee Anne's safety and his was the biggest priority.

She liked the Merchandise Booth idea better. "Well, I think right now, our best bet is the Merchandise Booth. Does the map say where it is, exactly?" Anne peered over his shoulder at the map. The girl couldn't make heads or tails of it, and hoped that Kale could. Hopefully, we won't run into any other Pokémon. Next time, we might not make it out unscathed. she thought.
ooc; Sorry, short post. Dx

Kale moved his finger to a small icon marking the location of stores, from the map's key. "It tells us the location of the Merchandise Booth exactly, but not our own. We'll have to head in the general direction of it and keep our eyes out for anything - the sign, the booth itself, or maybe just lots of hints that people have passed through. I'm sure most would come through the Booth, so there might be wrappers or footprints or something.
He glanced up at the sky again, watching the gray clouds creep closer. "And we may want to hurry, in case it rains."
(Are we going to poof to the other thread, or should they meet another Pokémon first?)

ooc; I'll make the other thread, okay? So no, no Pokémon. xD Yet. =0
