Physical Appearance:
A somewhat short girl, standing at exactly 5’, but awaiting a growth spurt. Having a normal build, she’s not particularly athletic and weighs in at around 95 lbs. She has very short dark brown hair which makes others mistake her for being male. Being a tomboy, having a slightly lower pitch of voice, and refusing to wear dresses or skirts doesn’t help this problem. There‘s almost always a smile glued onto her face. Some exceptions to this is when she’s mad or deep in thought where she’ll seem to desire seclusion more than anything else.
Unkempt hair, a T-shirt that’s a size too large, and a pair of shorts that reach her knees are her common forms of appearance. In the winter, she wears a navy blue sweashirt with a gold star on the front along with a pair of black jeans. She wears the same old black tennis shoes she has for the past year, making them a little worn out. These are done purposely as her mother seems to hate it and wants her daughter to be a “proper lady.” Olivia’s disregard of looks also tends to get her clothes torn and dirty, though she may do nothing about it. This can sometimes make her seem unapproachable.
Personality:
Olivia is entering a rebellious stage from her parents, refusing anything that they want. Though she and her parents aren’t seeing eye-to-eye, she is very friendly and kind to other people she meets. She tends to get used to people quickly, giving them a nickname within a day and can chat for hours. The girl loves to talk to other people as she felt lonely most of her childhood. She was always the listening ear and the shoulder to cry on and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Though she seems happy on the outside, she isn’t always cheerful. At times she will feel neglected and sad, mostly when not around others or when rebuked. Not being one raised with discipline, she isn’t used to being scolded and can overreact sometimes. She usually isn’t easy aggravate, but when she is, she won’t associate with the aggravator for a long time and will act with childish behavior. She can occasionally be an attention hog, whining for any attention she can get.
History/Background:
Olivia came from a wealthy family. Her mother was overprotective and wanted the best out of her children, often forcing things that were unwanted. Olivia’s blood father died in a car accident when she was only a year old. Since then, her mother has been married a total a five times and is currently dating a possible sixth. Because of this, Olivia’s image of love and marriage are very loose. They didn’t mean anything at all and were just there for show and fairy tales, or so she believed.
Being rich, she also "doesn't know the value of a dollar." She’s quick to buy what she wants rather than what she needs. This leads to her mooching off of other people when she’s out of supplies such as potions and antidotes. Having been taken care of by maids and butlers, she can be unmotivated to do things herself and seem lazy.
Olivia didn’t have much interaction with other people since her mother was over protective and she was forced to be home schooled. There weren’t even any Pokemon around her. Because of this, as soon as she saw her first battle on TV, she loved it and dreamed of becoming a Gym Leader. Her mother, seeing this as a good opportunity, allowed Olivia to enroll in Rustboro’s Trainer School to become a great battler and, hopefully, a Gym Leader.
At school, Olivia’s stature was fairly normal. She was neither popular nor a loser, which was fine with her. After only a month attending the school, she began getting confessions from girls who still thought she was a boy. Though she cleared up the misunderstanding, one of the girls said they still liked Olivia. Olivia couldn’t return the feelings, but was still friendly to the girl as she was before. Before long, they ended up being the best of friends, swearing that they‘d protect each other no matter what.
Other:
Has an older brother, Eric (17) and a sister, Ashante (15). Parents were never around, doesn't know how to ride a bike or swim
