She had to keep herself from heaving over the ships rails. It wasn't because she was embarrassed; not at all. It was the fact that she was staring at practically her maker!
Ever since she almost had drowned as a child, the water had been her biggest fear. Adeline felt the need to conquer that fear and love the water. She wanted to see it's gentle side, but found no such luck on the cruise to Moon Forest.
The sea was lapping against the boat, about 7 foot waves. It wasn't too terrible for the others aboard, but it was enough for Adeline. She staggered to the deck chair and lay down on it. She tried to finger through her bleached hair, to calm herself.
She bit her tongue to fight the urge to scream. This was horrible for the poor girl. The hand not combing through her hair dug into the chair.
Of course, people were staring at her. She looked like she was going to explode. Her eyes were tightly shut, face a bright pink, knees knocked together, knuckles turning white. She looked a mess. "Ma'am, are you alright?" An attendant asked. She nodded a bit. "Just have to get my sea legs, th-that's it," She attempted to smile, but it was merely a crooked smirk.
The attendant sauntered away to serve a couple lounging on the deck. Adeline missed the Pokemon back at home. She wanted to snuggle the wild Pikachu that she would feed berries once a day. He was kind and caring unlike the sea she was currently riding.
This is going to be a long day, She thought. No need to worry, r-right?
