The rumble of a small plane broke through the white fluff of the clouds. The small white aircraft rushing through the sky as the runway lay stretched out before it. The squealing of the wheels hitting the asphalt made her breathe catch in her throat. Of course she was nervous, she had never gone anywhere further then Violet City in the Johto Region.
Her long, pale fingers clutching the worn green strap of her shoulder bag. Her mismatched eyes looking down upon all of those stickers and her friend's handwriting, hoping they wouldn't be too mad at her for just up and leaving like that. She had to get away from that place. Besides, her mother and her flower shop was stifling enough as it was.
There was another problem...she had completely lied to her mother about coming here. Only leaving her a note telling her she went to her best friend's house to do some studying....well, her mother was probably worried out of her mind now. She had spent a day and a half on this place, crowded with a few other people, all of whom, weren't even talking to each other.
The plane came to a steady, even stop. The engines slowly dying down. The Flight attendant began to move along the hall, a fake smile plastered across her bright red lips. "Come on, people." she said, ushering an old couple down the aisle, "We're at Moon Forest now. Hope you have a wonderful time."
The girl dodged the attendant's flailing arms, ambling slowly down the stairs. Her shoes hitting the cracked pavement, looking around at the airport and the other planes leaving and arriving. Well, this was it. This was the start of her new life. Taking a deep breath, she made her way through the crowd, leaving the airport behind.
"Maybe I should of picked up a map." she said to herself, pushing her messy blond bangs out of her crimson left and sea foam green right eye, "Just my luck to get lost here.... "
She had too. Her mind was so far gone about her mother yelling at her and the fact that this was exciting that she totally forgot to grab a map of this place before leaving the airport. At least she wasn't that far away from civilization and she was trying to stay away from any place that held wild Pokemon.
She tugged on the bottom of her black shirt, for some reason, trying to make it cover up her midriff, which wasn't working. Her black belt holding up those extremely baggy black jeans and only the toes of her worn converse shoes were visible.
Looking around, she noticed that there were a few people here and there, but other then that, none that looked as if they could help her out. In fact, they seemed to be keeping their eyes straight forwards, as if they didn't want to notice the girl.
Shrugging, she decided it would be best for her to just head down this path, trying to find some sort of lab where she could acquire her fist Pokemon. This, was what she really wanted. However, it was hard for her to decide. Thoughts of her first Pokemon raced through her mind, but, since she had actually never used a Pokemon, she was a bit confused on all the different types. I guess that's why she should of paid more attention to Earl when he explained type advantages and disadvantages.. Oh well, that was her loss then. Anyways, she thought it would be better to see the different types in battle then go along with that crazy old Earl's explanation.
She finally stopped, scratching the back of her head, which caused a few stray black strands of hair to fall out of the loose ponytail holding up the rest of her long black hair. It was time to stop before she got herself totally lost. The girl sat down, placing her shoulder back in her lap, hopefully someone would come along and tell her which direction she needed to be taking.
OoC: If I don't reply, it's because my computer keeps messing up and I have to get it fixed. Sorry about that.
