(Hooray for fail titles! xD And Nuah is such a hypocrite. =P)
The young woman stretched her arms out far, completely ignoring the fact that she nearly slapped another person in the face as she twirled her hands around. She had gotten a glimpse of the other person: simple clothes, no jewelry; probably another nobody come to be lost on this ship anyway. They must have gotten one of the cheap tickets - they hadn't paid as much as she had, so they didn't have as much of a claim to the space. She let a slight laugh escape as the woman cast her a brief, angry glance before moving away. Giving up so easily? It was no wonder she couldn't afford a nicer outfit.
Nuah Teridot, as she was called, was not one to hate less wealthy people on site - no, in her family that trait was reserved for her parents and their siblings. However, she did hold the belief that one's wealth must be determined by one's hard work (a rather ridiculous sentiment for a girl who inherited all her funds), and so if someone was poor they obviously were just not hard workers. And that was inexcusable, for surely everyone in the world was simply there to work. Everyone else, that is.
She had no qualms about showing off her wealth. She had had a private hairstylist come the day before her journey, to make sure her hair would be perfect. She had a small panel of judges help her choose what outfit to wear (and she had thrown a tantrum when she heard that her neighbor had hired 100 judges to do the same). And of course, she had taken special care to wrap the brilliant red ribbons around her arms and neck so that they looped in what she considered the perfect manner. Before she had set out, everything had been absolutely, unarguably perfect.
And then she had set out. It was ridiculous. She had paid for the most expensive boat tickets (perhaps some of the slightly cheaper ones would have sufficed, but she wanted to make sure that if Isne had come along that she would be stuck with a lesser room), but even so she could see in the water's reflection that her hair had become slightly ruffled in the sea breeze, one of her ribbons seemed to need constant adjusting, and worst of all she could swear that she wasn't the richest person aboard the ship. One lady had a ridiculous emerald ring on, the gem far too big and gaudy, Nuah thought. She fingered her own ruby ring, almost nothing compared to that, and felt the burn of jealously. Could it be that next to such grandeur, she looked commonplace? The trip was already turning out to be a horrible idea.
She ran a hand through her hair again, trying absently to brush it back into space. And announcement came over the loudspeaker and she accepted it dumbly: they were about to land at the docks.
Why had she come here? She'd traveled to many regions before, after a while they all just started to blur together. Each had its own scattered beauties, but it wasn't enough to satisfy her. Why did she continue to venture? Surely there was nothing left to discover, nothing worth dragging herself all this way. But then, there was nothing worth looking at where she had already been, either. At least this way she saw new horizons, even if they were struck through with gray instead of ruby.
A call went up, and the boat stopped with a slight jerk as it pulled into the docks.

The teenage girl woke with a start when the boat stopped with a slight lurch into the docks. She arose so quickly, she hit her forehead on the metal bar above her bunk. Instead of falling back into bed, dazed, she stayed where she was, half reclined, and attempted to calmly handle the pain. Failing that, she yelled every profanity she knew at the top of her lungs, well aware of the others sharing her lowest-class room. She breathed hard through her teeth, growling to herself as she quickly got out of bed and gathered her small backpack. The PokeMorph stormed out of the microscopic room, slamming the door as loud as she could possibly could. She noticed the flood of other unfortunate souls as hers, hurrying to the deck in hope of a new life. She joined the fluent river of unboarding passengers, slightly standing out, like a pink pebble in a sea of slate blue rocks. The rose-haired girl noticed a change in the classes of people as she elevated. She figured the order went lower class at the bottom, middle in the middle, and higher at the top, so they wouldn't have to break a sweat when getting off the ship. The girl would have spat, but she was so packed in, she would have probably gotten spit on someone's back.
It seemed ages until her pink-ish skin felt the warmth of the sun on her face. She paused for a moment, then was pushed harshly from behind and stumbled, catching herself on a rail. The Jigglypuff Morph turned to see who had pushed her, and put on a stern face. Of course, it was a rich snob girl. The girl felt like slugging her, but resisted, and whipped back around, continuing to walk, for the flow of exiting passengers had been blocked because of her. She hurried to the side of the ship, (starboard, port, whichever) and breathed in the fresh ocean air. The girl had never been to another region before, and decided to take it in. She leaned a little over the side of the ship, and almost smiled with awe at all the life under the crystal blue waves.
"Wow...." she murmured to herself. "That's amazing..." The teenage girl had never seen so many Pokemon in one place. Having grown up on the streets of Celadon, then in an actual household, there weren't many, other than Grimer, Meowth, and Koffing.
Kixani Rod Verde, her passport read. Hometown, Celadon. Parents, Tesh and Leslie Verde. She wanted so much to rip the parents section off with her teeth. They weren't her real parents. She shoved her passport back into her backpack. Kix didn't want them to ruin her journey, and wanted to forget about them. But it was hard, for they were the only parents she knew. Or is it possible they were the only ones she had? Sometimes Kix wondered if she had no real parents at all.
Looking back up, she turned to her right, and saw a golden brunette with, what Kix thought, was baked-looking. Tan enough, you think? she thought, rolling her eyes slightly and quickly. Then she looked at her own skin. Well, mine is different. But not my own doing. Stupid strawberry-peach skin! She also noticed her nice clothing and her "I'm too good for you all" posture. She rolled her eyes yet again, and turned back to the ocean, and wondered if that lady had enough bags to match the number of Pokemon in the sea. Most likely here on vacation. she assumed.

(The long posts... they make me happy. ;.; And now watch me break the streak. xD;; )
A prickling sense on the back of Nuah's neck alerted the woman to the fact that she was being watched. She froze for a moment, her hands gripping the railing as she prepared her face with a glare suitable for anyone who might be staring at her (well, of course she wanted people to stare and admire her, but a terrifying glare often helped to enforce the other's inferiority), then whipped around quickly, the loose ribbons around her arms flailing almost as if she were dancing.
By that time, Kix had turned away, and Nuah's glare simply fell on the backs of several people as she scanned them suspiciously. Many of them had obviously come from the cheap deck. Could it be that a thief was eying her? If that was the case, she would eagerly welcome an attempted robbery; she was certain the thief would find they had picked a target who was more then they could handle. And besides, how often did one get an excuse to legally beat someone up? It was a good way to remove stress.
Suddenly, her eyes flicked back to one of the commoners. What was with that girl? Maybe she was seasick or something, though Nuah had never heard of seasickness making someone have pink-tinted skin - but wait, were those ears? Nuah's eyes narrowed, and a scowl appeared on her already somewhat-angry face. So. She was a... Pokémorph, was that what they were called? What a freak of nature, it was beyond Nuah why they even allowed such a beast on the same ship as respectable people!
"All passengers, please prepare to unboard!" came the shout, and Nuah's attention was turned from the Pokémorph to the important task on hand: getting to the front of the line, so that all this dirt-of-the-world wouldn't jostle her in their unevitable mad rush to get off of the ship. She took only the time she needed to fix her ribbons (she wouldn't want to lose them amongst this rabble) and then walked 'serenely' over towards the ramp.
She managed to be fairly close to the front of the line (much to her chagrin, the lady with the huge emerald ring was in front of her). Her foot tapped on the ground impatiently as she waited for the line to move.
(Yay, it managed to be pretty long still. :3 And Nuah is such a hypocrite. xD And she's biased against Pokémorphs, while she's never met one. =P)

Dx; Sorry for waiting so long to reply... And also, the long posts are probably gonna go bye-bye. Cx ^^;

The Pokemorph watched the rich lady turn to her from the corner of her eye. She noticed the scrutiny in which she was observed, and sensed her uncomfortable and possibly disgusted vibe she was exerting. Kix was tempted to turn to her and look her right in the face, but changed her mind as she heard the announcement.
She hurried to get into the sea of unboarding passengers, and began to push and shove, and be pushed and shoved. But some even moved out of the way for her, and she was thankful to them...Until she realized they were moving so they didn't have to touch her. Kix pretended to ignore it, but it was taking everything she had to keep from exploding. The Jigglypuff 'morph finally got up near the front, and right next to her was baked-skin lady. She rolled her eyes, and folded her arms, waiting for the line to move.

(It was nice while it lasted. xD And no problem, I made you wait just as long sooo... ^^;
And also, since we don't register here any more... do we just walk through and go straight to the lab?)
Now this, this was unacceptable! She must have paid enough for the 'Morph's ticket many times over, surely she deserved to be far ahead of her in the line. Her glance towards Kix held a look not unlike one she might give to someone who had a terrible plague that might or might not be contagious: fear was absent from her eyes, but disgust and contempt were prevalent. Could the thing even speak, or was it as full of babble as its inhuman half?
A flicker of movement just ahead of them caught Nuah's attention. The line was finally starting to move as people began exiting the ship up ahead.
(Arg, sorry for the terrible post. D= I'm not really in a writing mood today, but I didn't want to let this sit. >>)

xDD Yep...
And I guess so. o.o;

She turned her head just enough to see Nuah's abhorred expression, the woman looking at her like she carried some kind of epidemic. The 'Morph was beginning to grow furious, and she began to see stars. Her hands clenched into fists, nails digging into her palms. She had to try to hold back even more, and stood tempestuously waiting for the line to move so she could get out of there.
Finally the line began to flow, and Kix half-intentionally jostled Nuah out of the way, trying to push through the river of passengers. She turned back to see the rich lady's face, but a large man stood behind her, blocking her view. The girl didn't know if he was just a passenger, or some kind of security guard. (*coughcough*Play along*coughcough* xDDD)

(Zelda, you're asking far too much of Sarin's poor, half-dead mind. xD)
The guard eyed her with a contemptuous expression that might even have been harsher than Nuah's. Sadly enough, it was for the same reasons: he thought the Pokémorph to be some sort of freak, and he was biased towards the richer customers. If they lost them, they lost more money than he dared to haggle with. There would always be more common folk.
"Don't push, miss." His voice echoed the emotion in his eyes, soft but steely, full of the unspoken warning: that he didn't need much of an excuse to get into a conflict with her.
Nuah didn't like the guard (despite her never having seen him before this, but then did she ever like anyone?), but she disliked the 'morph more. A smirk twitched at the corner of her mouth for a moment. "Is that how you're accoustomed to starting off your stay in a new land?" she questioned, sliding past the girl and holding her passport out to the personnel just ahead. "Nearly getting yourself arrested?
(Uhm. Bad post is bad. And that guard is evil. D<)

Kix was tempted to punch the guard in the face then run for it, but whipped around when she heard the voice of Ms. Snooty. The 'Morph felt her pink round ears grow very hot. Her hands clenched into pinkish-tan fists, and the girl gritted her teeth.
"What did you just say?" the Jigglypuff 'Morph snapped. She shoved her passport into the worker, then quickly put it back. Kix ran to catch up with her new found enemy. "So you think you're so much better than me because you're completely human? Hmph. I'm glad I won't be running into you again, Ms. Expensive-Vacation-By-The-Beach."

Nuah's face reddened almost enough to match the crimson ribbons she wore. "Oh, I'm sorry, I should have realized you couldn't hear properly with those ears of yours. Family trait?" After several requests (growing steadily more exasperated) from the crew, she had stepped off of the ramp and stood seething on the docks. "I know I'm better than you," she continued arrogantly, pulling herself up straighter, "And yes, being human would be a part of that. In case you haven't noticed, you're in a city. A human city. Around me I see all ranges of people, from the well-off to the scum. But they are all human, and yes, that makes them all better than you."
She finished her tirade with a confident sneer, perfectly matching her not-so-kind words. "As for a vacation, that is not a crime. But yes, I am glad I will not be seeing you around. You certainly don't look like you're here for a nice break-" (she eyed the Pokémorph's apparel and lack of finery with contemptuous eyes) "-so I can only surmise from your behavior thus far that you have come here to tour the prisons! A lovely choice, if I may say so."
(I have no idea how they aren't going to kill each other. xD)

Kix thought the getting arrested insult was bad, but she literally gaped with shock at the next thing she said. She stood where she was, completely ignoring the crew members. "I'm sorry, I don't speak snob." the 'Morph said through gritted teeth.
Human city. What did that mean anyway? Like there should be separate cities for non-humans like me? Oh, what I'd do for just one good back-handed slap on that woman!! she thought, mouth set in a straight line. 'I know I'm better than you...' Rude much?
Kix then put on a feigned smile and stepped off the gangplank onto the dock. "I'm sorry, but you're quite mistaken about your last statement... I am in fact, not here to view the penitentiaries, but to acquire a Pokemon and to go on something of an excursion." she said with the biggest and most royal sounding words she could conjure up, a small smirk hiding under her fake smile.
