I'm upset at you guys now. I don't want to post here anymore. D< Was it really necessary to go on a whole page without me when it really wasn't that long since I had posted? I'm not really sure where Tobi is, and it would probably be okay to skip him. But still.

Somewhere along the way Josh had left the house in refuge of the McDonalds down the street. A hash brown hung out of his mouth as he walked back to the house, a large McDonalds bag held in his arms. He was a growing man and needed his food - if Sarah was not going to provide him with the nutrients he needed then he would have to live like man in the wilderness and go to the fast food restaurants instead. Josh was about halfway down the street when he heard the faint sound of the fire alarm in the house, but did not recognize it as his house's alarm at first. As he got closer, however, he distinguished the sound and peered over, seeing David grab Zelda's hand and run towards the house. Since the smoke was beginning to clear by this point and he thought that someone really /had/ started a fire. Josh growled to himself, hash brown still in his mouth, and raced towards the house - and more particularly, David. "Whaff dud you du to my house!" he yelled through the soft breakfast food, swallowing it all in one gulp. Sarah clamped her hands over her ears, not having seen the smoke at all. Now what was happening? Had one of the animals pulled the alarm again? She sighed and looked down at Chloe, making her way to the backdoor, then opened it for the animals to freely escape out of. "All animals, out!" she ordered, hoping there really was no fire. Even with the alarm Mr. Tibbles was busy at work, chewing on Zelda's bedspread with force. He tugged at the fabric with his teeth and began to pull it over, not in the least noticing that there was another animal who had ran under the bed. Mr. Tibbles had already made a rather large hole by this point, rather pleased with himself. The sound did hurt his sensitive ears, but he dealt with it just so he could make Zelda furious at him; it was probably yet another false alarm. If it wasn't he could always jump out of the window. OoC: | It's alright, and sorry . . . I've had "don't go on without me" feelings for a really long time because it completely sets me off from where my characters were. That's happened to me so many times I'm tired of it.

I know I already posted above, but let's make a posting order because it's too confusing otherwise.
I'll put myself at the top. So maybe me, Zelda, Basset, Holmes, Sarin, Tobi, and then Pixie?

ooc; RAWR. Sarin, reply with Burr!
ic;
Zelda followed David, and breathed a sigh of relief when they made it out of the smoke. She coughed once more, then looked up at the house. Does everyone inside know it's just a false alarm? she thought, looking up towards Sarin's room. She also put her hands to her ears. "Wait! Where's Spike?" she yelled over the smoke alarm. The girl was shocked when she saw her father run towards the house. She'd never seen him run before. "Dad!" she called. "I didn't do anything! Neither did David!"
The feline jumped and hissed when she heard the fire alarm go off. What was going on? She hadn't seen a fire! Wait... If there is a fire... an evil grin crossed her face. Well then, I just need to make sure everyone stays inside. The evil she-cat sprinted towards the house, grinning.

ooc: Fine, I'll post. I was hoping Pixie would... but I guess I'll just do it. *isn't sure that Pixie will ever post*

"Ya, I didn't do anything!" David said, turning back to face Josh. "It was some crazy ninja person who threw a smoke bomb!" He couldn't believe that Josh would ever think that he would set their house on fire. Zelda lived there, all her things were there, and she would hate him for the rest of his life. David would never ever do anything to hurt Zelda. "Oh, Spike, don't worry about him." he added, trying to find the little puppy in all the smoke. "He'll be just fine."
Spike was fine. In a way. In all the confusion he had found a nice little hiding space to wait out all the smoke, but in the process, had gotten stuck in it. The little puppy had no idea he was stuck yet, but he would soon.
Seeing the door open, Chloe barked at the opportunity to be free and rushed out, leaving a trail of pancake batter trailing after her. Within seconds the Basset Hound was running down the street, her tongue hanging out of the side of her mouth and her expression one of pure joy.
