Physical Appearance:
Her overall figure is pretty short and stout, Kix only standing at 5'1". She is a little pudgy, just a little extra on her thighs and around the waist and stomach area. Her cheeks are also a little puffy, similar to a Jigglypuff's. Kixani's skin is a light pinkish-tan, an odd color, with luckily clear skin. No freckles or zits here! Her head is a little big, though, and circular. Her feet and hands are rather petit. Kix's hair is a bold pink, with curly bangs just above her left eye. (Our right) Her hair reaches nearly to her shoulders, but if it was straightened, it'd reach a little lower than her collar bone. Just her eyes are breathtaking, though. They're a very vibrant greenish-blue color that sparkle. They are part of her innocent act, when she wants something, but can't get it with words alone. Neatly plucked eyebrows rest above them. Kixani has a little nose and mouth, leaving her plenty of cheek-room. Little pink triangle-shaped things poke out from her hair, serving as ears. They're not very big, like real Jigglypuff's.
Kixani rarely wears makeup. Leslie, her mother, feels it unnescessary, mostly because she never leaves the house. But occasionally, Kix will sneak into her mom's bathroom and put on a little eyeshadow and blush before she goes out. She wears a bright green tanktop, the strap about an inch or two wide, with a pale yellow polka-dot print. Below that is a short jean mini-skirt. She cut it so that the bottom is diagonal. The left side is shorter, then gets longer as it nears the right leg. To finish off her look, Kix slips on a pair of green flip-flops, or for travelling, some brown Pumas.
Personality:
Kixani was usually obedient until she turned twelve, when she started to wonder. She started to yearn for something more, something mysterious, and out of reach. It was her past life. Her dreams, her fears. The last piece to her own jigsaw puzzle. But whenever she reached for it, it only got farther away. She grew bold and curious. Kix asked her parents more and more questions. They thought nothing of it, they knew it was normal for kids to know more things as they get older.
She became less of herself, and more dodgy with her parents. She avoided some questions, figuring if they didn't tell her anything, she wouldn't tell them anything. Kix would stay in her room a lot, and draw.
Kixani does like other girls, as well as guys. But that doesn't make her any different than other girls. She isn't a major tomboy or girly girl. She's normal. She likes the same stuff as other girls, the same fashion, magazines, and TV shows. She isn't in love with everyone she meets. Kix may find another female particularly attractive, but it doesn't mean she walks up and confesses her love to the woman. The girl usually keeps her love life to herself. So in short, unless she really, really, really trusts you, you'll have no clue she's bisexual.
History/Background:
(Kix doesn't remember any of her normal childhood, how she was before she was a Pokémorph, but luckily, I am an all-knowing person, so I can tell you. ;D)
Kixani was born with the name Remina Yeslon, and she was a straight-haired brunette with tan skin and very dark brown eyes like dark chocolate. She was her parents' only child, and they never let her out of their sight. Why? They had a kid a year before Remina, but he was kidnapped and never seen again. Remina never attended any schools. Her parents had no jobs, and homeschooled her. It is imaginable that they were not rich, since her parents hadn't any jobs. They lived in an apartment with two little bedrooms, a microscopic kitchen with old appliances, a small living room/dining area, and a tiny bathroom with horrible, outdated features. The house was in one word, repelling. Lucky for them, their renter let them have the apartment, for he figured no one else would want it except for them. But Remina's parents made it homey, with pictures drawn by Remina taped on the walls and just some little knick knacks to fill the place with little furniture they had.
When Remina was 8, a pair of big, shady men in leather coats appeared at their door. Her parents were terrified, and refused to let them in. They hid themselves and Remina in a closet. The rest was very confusing, sudden, and terrible. The door was kicked down. Everything they had was pushed over, and most of the pictures on the wall were ripped off and strewn all over the floor. They finally reached the bedroom, and opened the closet. Remina's mother was sobbing, clutching Remina, her father trembling, but giving the men a hard stare. Remina was staring up at them with wide eyes. Both of her parents were quickly...disposed of. They grabbed Remina from her dying mother's arms, causing the child to scream. They tied a bandana around her mouth, and put her in a big black bag, leaving it unzipped. Then the men left, leaving Jon and Gabriella Yeslon to rot in the closet of their own bedroom. They were found two months later.
A week before they were found, Remina was drastically changed. Not even I know who did it and how, but an eight year old child was found on the street, who didn't even know her name, and much different than she was before. The girl was a Jigglypuff Pokemorph. Her skin was pinkened, her eyes a bright green-blue. Her hair was a bold pink, and curly. No one would even be able to recognize her at all, even if they did know her, which now, nobody did. Not only her appearance changed. Her personality and interests changed. She didn't remember anything. Not even her own name, or what her parents looked like. One side-effect was that her sexuality changed, she came to favor females over males. Another was that she attained a very good voice. Actually, for a while, she sang for the public with a troop of traveling story-tellers and performers. But they got bad reputations being with a Pokemorph, so they abandoned her. The girl, now nameless, still had a love for drawing, though, and got better, as well.
She would sit on the sidewalk, hugging her knees, rocking back and forth, singing to herself. Many people pittied her, and gave her money. She didn't know what to do with it, and dropped it down a nearby gutter. Some gave her food, which she scarfed down immediately. Others even took her home for a night or two, then returned her to the street. But there was one couple that would take her home for good. They were like her, Pokemorphs. The man, a Raticate 'Morph, the woman a Zigzagoon Pokemorph. They didn't ask her if she needed somewhere to stay, the woman just picked her up gently, and carried her to their house. They got her settled in, then asked, 'What is your name?' The girl didn't answer, she could hardly talk, so they had to teach her to talk again, then asked the same question. The girl replied simply, 'I don't have one.' The couple was troubled by this, so they named her. 'Remina Yeslow' became 'the nameless girl' who became 'Kixani Rod Verde.'
They did not send Kix to school, though, for they were afraid she would be teased and harassed. The man, Tesh, had a job at a magazine factory, but the woman, Leslie, stayed at home and designed graphics. They had no kids of their own, but they had a fair-sized house. But Kix was not very comfortable there. She felt she belonged elsewhere, but didn't know where. It was as if a few fragments of her memory still existed, but just out of reach.
She lived with Tesh and Leslie for four years more, until she was fourteen. It was dinner, and they were having hotdogs. Kix brought up her strange feeling then.
'Mom, Dad? I...I'm confused.' she said bluntly.
'About what? We can go over your algebra again, if you'd like, dear.' Leslie replied, not looking up from her food.
'No...about life.'
'We understand, dear. You may love whoever you want, regardless of sex.' her father reminded her, looking at his daughter.
'No, no! About life before you two took me in, and before I was put out on the street. Before as far as I can remember. I can feel something...it's like I'm missing something. I can almost grasp it, but then it dissolves like mist in my hands.' she explained.
Her mother and father exchanged worried and confused glances.
Finally, her mother spoke, 'Dear, does that matter now? We're all one big happy family, and the past is behind us. If you can't remember what you're trying to, then just don't. Maybe it's just not meant to be recalled.'
'Are you telling me to give up? To just live on, oblivious?' Kix spat, glaring at her adopted parents. 'I want to know where I come from! I want to know what that missing piece is! And I want to hold it and dissect it, and figure it out! I want to know, and I'm going to!' She was standing up now.
Leslie and Tesh were staring at her with their mouths wide open.
'Go to your room, Kixani Rod! You might find that blasted missing p--' he was cut off by the Zigzagoon 'Morph, who slapped him gently on the arm, and she murmured something into his ear, and they left the table. Kix did not want to go to her room, which wasn't even her room. It was some stranger's room that she had been staying in for years. Some strangers she had called 'Mom and Dad.'
It was decided. She would run away that night. They wouldn't care, they'd just forget about her with their stupid 'Hakuna Matata' life of theirs. She packed a backpack with some clothes, some pencils, paper, and erasers. Then she wrote a note and put it on her nightstand:
'Leslie and Tesh,
I have left to pursue my true past. Do not look for me. I will be on a boat to Moon Forest by the time you read this. I am going to find myself, and it's easier without you. I appreciate all you did for me, but you are not my parents. Thank you.
--Kix'
She cried a little as she wrote the letter, but wiped the tears away harshly. They aren't your parents, they were fakers, she convinced herself. But it was hard to forget the only parents you remember. Fakers, she had thought, Not your real parents.
