WAS 11 - Movie time!
-
Hello everyone! I haven't gotten to do one of these in a while, so I shall! I hope the vacations and time-off has been pleasant for all of you since it's basically in the very middle. How time flies like a Pidgey being chased by arejected Ratatta! Yeah, that's joke's getting stale. Just a little reminder, though; remember people are busy in the summer and may not reply as fast.
This week I wanted to do something special, so I rounded up bits and pieces of the latest info for the up-coming Pokémon movie. Now we're devoted strictly to the eleventh Pokémon movie Diamond & Pearl: Giratina & the Sky’s Bouquet (more info in previous WASs) and get you synced for its future release! Now, don't get too excited - it probably won't be released into the States or other countries for a while, but the Japanese theater release is July 19, 2008. Now that I've figured out I can put a YouTube video without just putting the link, I'm going to abuse it!
As a little note, I just remembered I took BETA off the site's name, so I guess that means we're a full-fledge forum now. And new stuff is still coming! I deleted our old forum that was still around a while back, and realized I couldn't find this forum in Google without it. All you had to do was type "moon forest" or so as the keywords and it would come up perfectly with the other one. Well, that was my fault. If anyone can find a way to work around that, that would be much appreciated.
Don't forget to audition for Artists and Hawk Moderators this week, too! Now to get to the good stuff.
Song Theme
Here's a pretty little number titled "ONE." It's the movie's full theme song, and has a nice, soft tone. It's done by a Japanese singer named Crystal Kay, and is a promotional video, so don't expect to see any animation.

Movie Full Trailer
We learn quite a bit from the trailer, including that Shaymin can talk! That's right, the cute flower porcupine can speak to our heroes, and seems to like Dawn. It's in Japanese, but that might be an interesting way to hear a snippet of the Japanese voices. Didn't see any Team Rocket, though - they might be squished in. It looks a bit more interesting than I first thought with world travel part, but maybe I just like that kind of stuff too much. I just love how the movies get better animation, and its darker than the regular Diamond and Pearl series. Can't wait to see more about the Torn World (more info in previous WASs).

Shaymin Bounquet
Here's something you don't quite see every day, and most likely will never get your hands on. It's a bouquet to praise no one other than Shaymin. Did I mention that's it's a rare Grass-type, as well, as this is a prefect way to celebrate that? Over 140 florist stores in Japan will sell the bouquet from July 1st to September 15th for exactly 1,574 yen, which estimates to$14.61 in United States money. Kind of looks like it, huh? Even the same colors!
July Issue of CoroCoro
What can I say, I like Dawn's new outfit in this picture for the game. It's better than her other one. This scan was posted in a July issue of a magazine called CoroCoro (there's another one below for August, but I decided to include this one too). Shaymin's Sky Forme is a Grass and Flying type, and it's the green and white dog without the pink flower in the picture.

August Issue of CoroCoro
Dawn has another cute thing to wear with the coat, and I guess the other guy got a makeover, as well. It's probably got a lot to do with Sinnou's plot and the dropping climate.
Lots of new stuff known throughout this article, so I'll put the highlights.
Dialga and Palkia appear simultaneously within the game. The Battle Frontier returns, and will be in the Fight Area of Sinnou. Team Galactic get more story, too. The WiFi Club area will support up for 20 people to be on at once. Giratina’s Origin Forme can only be used in Torn World, and there isn't known why to do it yet. Its ability is Levitate. Shaymin can change to its Sky Forme in Floaroma Town with a Key Item, Glacidia’s Flower, and has the ability Serene Grace.

Random Stuff Shaymin-style:
Also learned through the bouquet article its Japanese name is Sheimi, but it's pronounced as Shaymin still. Just a different spelling. But the Japanese are very lucky for the theater release. The game players going will be able to snatch Shaymin at the theaters showing the film though via wireless data download. Forgot if I mentioned this, but Platinum is just a remake of Diamond and Pearl.
And now, the time you've all been waiting for! The release date! Yes, I was keeping you waiting there until the end. The Pokémon Platinum game goes on sale in Japan on September 13th priced to 4800 yen. I don't know how to convert it, so don't ask me how much that is. Probably a normal $30 dollars or so in the United States. Obviously, no date set anywhere else yet.

As you can see, I worked hard to gather that stuff up. Give these sites the credit they deserve, they really helped, and I couldn't even add everything. 'Till next time~.
