Merry Holidays, everyone!
We'd like to wish you merry holidays from Moon Forest. Christmas just ended yesterday and New Years is coming around the bend for the bright new year of 2008, so be don't be too sad. Even though it's in the middle, most of us still have a happy Winter Break left, so that's a plus. May you get many presents, have family around, or however you spend your holidays.
Finals and among other things are what mostly slowed this down, and if you had them as well, we hope you late luck.
I'm not quite sure what other holidays may have started or concluded so far, but let's still celebrate! We have a lot under our belts today to gaze over for the recent lapse in info, so you really need to read! There's a lot more than usual, and quite a few interesting things to share.
Forum Info:
Updates
Updates are going to be added more now, and things will get better as more people are active. Other descriptions for boards have been slowly getting better, and the forum is going at a slow pace. It will continue like this with updates randomly. This is what I wanted, but I'm getting a little cautious. I'm a bit disappointed. I guess I half blame myself for that, but I've been busy myself with work. I've been slowly really trying to answer everyone and update, but it hasn't helped. I really wish to see the old members back, because I'm a bit down the our e-mail didn't work for Activity. The new people we also advertise and gain seem to vanish after the next two days, as well. Do we have to send it again?
Remember, we need you, everyone!
Random Questions -
Moon Forest? What's that look like? What about the plot?
Over the last couple weeks, I've realized that it might be odd I didn't add any descriptions to the land or what it looked like by some people's posts, or to other ideas for the future.
But, wait, I have description?
I'm not talking about the little explanations for each area, I'm talking about the whole regions sort of design. What it looks like, what kind of people live there, etc.
The talk of adding a map came up, and I think that's a great idea. We'll be sure to try and start it on that exciting project, and then show you all over-time Moon Forest's growth to shine.
It's actually sort of funny for the person who thought up the region to see foreign descriptions I'll later correct. Some of this has to do with plots (oh, my!) and such, but since you're in the world of Moon Forest now, suspense is the only thing to happen to you for the rest of your life. You'll just have to wait for the real small mini plots and major plots to start, right? Also, a large description of the whole land.
Hate us in the meantime!
New -
Moon Forest Boards
Look at all the new boards we've been adding! Moon Forest is expanding, and today, we'll list them. Make sure to visit each one and read the descriptions!
Sacred Grove:
Sacred Grove Forest
Old-Maid Berry Center
And wait . . . there's one more board? Yes, there's one that's still making it's way to Moon Forest shores, so be sure all to get closer to unlock it. It'll be a "Secret Board" for now.
Here's the link to read the current descriptions:

Moon Forest's Skin Anew
It's moonish.
The "Welcome to Moon Forest" skin is fixed up a bit. Do you like it? If you haven't looked at it yet, check it out yourself. The colors are now a mix of blue and silver, with a forest and moons as a picture (look above) instead of Moon Forest's symbol/emblem picture, but that's on the Induction/Joining page still.
It looks more organized now. ^^
New Cbox Design
It needed to be changed, in any case, and I hope it looks better now. The colors were getting to me, because in reality, that Cbox is months old and I haven't changed it since creating those colors.
Hopefully, more things fit better design-wise, and the colors mix, and all that stuff.
Information Updates -
Should reads.
Some of the inportant updates are fixed, and I encourage everyone to reread them, and everything, over again.
Guidelines, FAQ, and such are all bruced up and bit, so go read.
Espectually reread the guidelines. They will be changing in the future if I don't see any activity improvement, and just for the sake of the forum. I don't want to make them stricter, but I will.
Guideline 4 has specifically been modified in the -Basic Guidelines- of the forum's Regular Information.
Here's the link to the threads, so please go look at them.

Pokémon Info:
Naruto cast says "Pika Pika!"
Pi pi!
This was very random, to be honest. I was surfing a site and caught site of this video, so I looked it up and watched, and was both horrified and in wonder afterwards.
It's sort of an anime called Naruto and a Pokémon mix, in a sense. I'm not sure what to say about it other than it's an AMV with Naruto clips, slapped with Pikachu talking and the Poké Rap, and filled in the background with Butterfly by DDR. So you can imagine this is one packed AMV of sound.
If you're like me, you'll be listening to Pikachu the whole time, though. He, like - hypnotizes you.
Don't you think they're so cute when they say that?
Apparently, there are two versions of this video I found. I think the first one is funnier - I mean, Sakura so pwns Naruto, right?
Now, look at the videos here:

Wii Games-
Pokémon have come to the system!
As I've promised you, there's game info today. We'll take a small break from our Mystery Dungeon coverage, and now focus on a new game hitting the Wii.
The game is Pokémon Battle Revolution!
Cover screenshot.
This was released way back in June 25, 2007, but it's still something worth going over since it's semi-new.
It's the first Pokémon game on the system, and the info for the game is quite easy. A continuation of the Colusseum and Stadium games, it's like a extension of just battling and is absolutely nothing like its counterparts. Not an RPG game at all, but it can be enjoyable by playing against various friends and online players through the DS. You can even bring your Diamond and Pearl friends over for the modes of the game. I don't recommend you to buy it without a DS. It's the first Wii game to be able and link to a DS, and seems like it really needs one to work. You can imagine how good this looks on the enhanced Wii 3D battle stimulator screen.
Even though the main part of this game is just battling it's not a let-down with the first 493 Pokémon to use. There's many colosseums to go through and rounds, you can imagine, but you may also customise your own character! I believe this is the first time for this to ever occur in a Pokémon game, and I'm sure many fans will devour this feature. After years of dealing with the planned-out starter for us we get our turn to create a character.
You'll learn more about this later.

Christmas -
Pokémon Style!
It's late, but Pokémon Christmas can still slowly dissolve as you await the upcoming near year. That's right, we have more fun for you! And it is actual fun. In the link below are - I guess you could say - a sort of puzzle arrangment. Click on one of the letters and it'll take you to a page of a small word puzzles, or a Japanese game, Suduko - but all about Pokémon! It looks like you'd have to print it out and play with it if you wanted to, so sorry everyone who may not have a printer.
Anyway, it can be something for you to do if you're bored on this holiday break. It's actually sort of difficult and also requires knowledge of the show, so get on it!
Don't you love those snowflakes falling on the page?
Just click on a random number on the picture, or go to the Navigation bar and use that for what day you want to see. You also may see MSN icons on these pages, or a card to use. Isn't that nice?
All of them:

And here, if you don't feel like navigating, here's the first one. It's a word puzzle, and has what I said above.
