((Well, she's back! And I think I'm actually going to STAY active this time))
"What if my pokemon doesn't like me? What if there are no cold places in Moon Forest? What if...What if it's all hot and muggy? Oh..." she started off murmuring to herself, then, let out an agonized groan. What was she going to do? She sat down, and rested her head in her hands, focusing her breathing and trying to calm down before reaching the port.
"In...Out...In...Out..." she thought to herself. "I am a serene lake...Nothing can disturb my surface, not the strongest wind, not a jumping Wailord, not-" she was cut off from her thoughts by a loud horn, the ship's horn saying that they were about to dock. "Nothing can disturb my surface...not even that..."she growled. Then, she sighed. "Of course it can..." She got up and stared at the approaching land.
When they docked, Naomi was in her room, changing into something suitable for the land. She looked at herself in the mirror. She had braided her blond hair down to her waist, which, unfortunately, drew attention to her silver eyes. She had pulled on a red lasanga strap tank-top, and black capris. Since it was only warm, she was going barefoot, and the gold ankh was around her neck in it's usual place. As she left her room and walked down towards the docks, she sighed. "I miss Snowpoint already..." she thought sadly.
The ship finally docked, and she walked down the plank, holding her bag over her shoulder. "Now to find the registration center..." she thought to herself. She noticed a girl nearby, and walked up to her.
"Excuse me, do you know where the registration senter is?" she politely asked.

OOC: I'll give it a shot too, but it's kind of hard. I have very little to talk about.
1. Full name, age, and gender?
My name is Naomi Pendragon, I recently turned sixteen years of age, and I am, of course, female.
2. Home region, city, and date of birth?
I was born in Snowpoint City of Sinnoh, or near it. It is unknown what my real birthdate is, but we've guessed that it's about July 28.
3. Name of parents?
My biological parents are, again, unknown, but My twin brother and I were taken in by Vladimir and Saria Falconer.
4. Blood type? Do you have any diseases?
I am an O-, and I have no diseases...that I know of...
5. Are you a PokéMorph, or have any relatives as one? What kind?
No, I am not a pokemorph, but, amazingly, I have found that I can change into an Espeon at times, though
it is not completely under my power to cintrol this yet. My...lack of control seems to come most often during the new moon, while I have more power over it during the crescent and full moons.
6. What schools have you attended?
I never attended any school, but I was homeschooled by my parents and Candice's parents.
7. Do you plan on working in the region, and why did you come to the region?
I originally came to the region to become a pokemon trainer, but I might end up volenteering or working at a pokemon center.
They will also ask you for a way to always contact you and your family through phone or address. Eh, just send all calls to the Snowpoint Gym.

Yeah, you can leave now. I have some terrible WB issues goiong on.
((Yay! Done!))

Naomi smiled. She loved the ocean. It was so full of...well, life! She could almost feel it radiating through the air. It brought back that amazing sense of wonder. Then, she frowned. She was getting nervous."What if my pokemon doesn't like me? What if there are no cold places in Moon Forest? What if...What if it's all hot and muggy? Her shift had started and she wasn't there. Ira could swear sometimes she had to leave too early to get to her job at the registry agency. But today - oh, today - she had to wake up and leave her house a whole hour early to pick up a package at the docks. What a joy, a thrill, something to look forward to. This wasn't including that she appeared usually tired with black lines under her eyes and a pale expression. She'd have to smile double time today.
A serene day; the sky was bright and sun, crowds along the docks buying souvenirs and bustling about. Ira sat on a bench with her work clothes on, a crisp black shirt and pants, black hair snapped back into a ponytail. How much longer until the boat came in? Glancing out into the sea water she saw nothing so far. This better not come out of her paycheck.
"Where is it?" she muttered to herself darkly, wishing to get inside the cool air conditioned building she worked at. Looking out at the water again she waited impatiently, tapping her foot to the noise around her.

Naomi sat there, cross-legged, with the backs of her palms resting on her knees. Her eyes were closed, and she was breathing deeply."In...Out...In...Out..." she thought to herself. Right about the time Ira had been doubting that she'd see the ship for another hour and slightly thought that was good after all (she could stay outside longer, albeit from being bored), and turned her eyes to the sea again. A looming shape crossed into the unloading docks and several sailors on board began to call for people to board off. Well, at least she wasn't bored anymore - now for the package. Slowly she got to her feet and walked toward the undocking point, several others beginning to flood the area around, all people included. Frowning slightly she tapped her foot, looking around for a sailor to ask about the cargo.

Naomi took a deep breath, looking out on Moon Forest. It really was an amazing place. Behind her, wear many islands. She made a note to herself to find out what they were called, and some information about them. She stared out, trying to find out how far she could see. It really was quite far, considering the clear air. She couldn't see any mountains, yet, though...But there was much more to explore; there had to be a cold place somewhere. The ship finally docked, and she walked down the plank, holding her bag over her shoulder. "Now to find the registration center..." she thought to herself. She noticed a girl nearby, and walked up to her.
"Excuse me, do you know where the registration senter is?" she politely asked.
Where were one of those sailors? Peering around again she thought she nearly caught site of someone in a sailor suit. She was about to start walking, brisk foot about to plop onto the pavement, but stopped mid-way when a girl's voice caught her ears. Turning to her, she frowned, barely registering what she said for a moment. And then it clicked. "Oh, the agency . . . it's that way." She pointed past the docks to a white building. "I'm going to go there in a bit, so if you don't mind waiting, maybe I could take you there."

Naomi smiled. "Thank you," she replied, stepping out of the way so the girl could get through to...whatever she wanted to get through to. "Sorry," she smiled sheepishly. She sat down on the docks, trying to tone down her nerves. She was starting to go back to the no-cold-pokemon-hates-me spastics. She took a deep breath, told herself she would be alright, and waited for the girl to come back.Ira mentally frowned at the girl; the early twenties woman looked away for a moment, and spotted what she needed - a sailor. "I'll be right back," she said without trying to sound rushed, the professional tone of a receptionist kicking in. She left, and about ten minutes later returned, carrying a small package. Pushing a couple bangs from her eyes she walked back up to Naomi - now relucant to do any such thing as take her, but would - and tucked the box under her arm. It wasn't big enough to need help with. "Ready to go?"

Naomi was in meditation. Her breathing was very deep, and she was in her "tranquil pond" place again. She jumped when she heard the woman's voice. "Uh, sure," she replied, standing up, ready to follow.quote author=admin board=docks thread=685 post=3950 time=1219282516]
Ira gestured and started walking in the direction of the large, pure white structure in the distance. Whatever this thing was it was strange to her, and she still didn't know what it was. Probably a shipment that needed to be peeked into from those sneaky foreign lands - figured. "Ah, you're going to get registered, right?"

Naomi looked Ira, then realized that her braid was coming undone. "Of course I'm going to get registered. Why else would I be going to the registration center?" she asked. She was trying to hide her nerves with a hard outer shell, and by un-doing her braid and starting to braid it again, her hair swept over her shoulder, her purple hair band wrapped around her wrist.Well, it was obvious the girl had a point - there really was no other reason to go there than to register. Ira pushed herself through a crowd of people, slightly glancing back to see if the girl would make it alright. It was just in common courtesy. "I guess nothing else, really." She was under law not to ask personal questions until they were in front of the desk. Then she remembered that she hadn't introduced herself. "Well, I'm Ira, one of the receptionists there. So I'll be the one to get you registered." Ira didn't notice if the girl was nervous. Most of the new people from over the sea were by this point, but she was too used to it to notice now.

Naomi smiled. Ira seemed nice enough, and that eased her nerves...slightly. She was still nervous, but at least she didn't get one of those scary receptionists behind the counter that she had heard about. Unless Ira hid her scariness until she was working, she figured that she was safe from that. "I'm Naomi," she replied."Nice to meet you." As they walked further down the crowded dock the white building became even clearer, something that anyone could recognize. People flooded out of the registry agency from both sides, out into the docks and into the city beyond. Ira wouldn't exactly call herself kind - on the contrary, she felt rather like the villain Naomi was believing her fellow coworkers were. She pushed past a couple people and up to the doors, the welcome mat already treaded on in the last couple hours. The sliding glass doors opened, revealing the interior of the grand building. Ira continued on, toward the counter further away.

Naomi was awed. On the outside it looked so plain! But here, it was beautiful. She knew she shouldn't "judge a book by it's cover", but still, this was pretty amazing. She glanced at Ira, and jokingly said, "So how many papers do I have to fill out?"Naomi probably didn't know it, but she'd have to fill out one sheet, at least. "There's one for the entire registry," she answered, not awed in the least by her surroundings. She was already used to the buzz of chatter, the grand ceilings, and busy atmosphere always in motion.

Naomi grinned, most of her nervous jitters gone as excitement took its place. She knew she could do this. She would be the best trainer ever! She looked over at Ira. "So where are they?" she asked."At my desk." She pointed to a small cubicle in the middle of the long and exusite counter, lined with other people at other registers but hers. "Go over there and I'll be there in a minute." Ira made a sharp turn at that moment, switching her direction, and went the other way to get behind the counter.

Naomi winced slightly, feeling a stab of sympathy for Ira. She didn't think she could stand to work in an office. It was so...crammed, and there was no fresh air. Not only that, but there was no adventure in it. But, she made her way over to the cubicle, and waited for Ira.This couldn't even be considered fairly large - it got ten times worse on days the boats poured in monthly with tons of travelers and items from foreign lands. Today was tame compared to the massive outrightness of other times; Naomi was also lucky she came at a decent part of the day when they weren't bustling around with everyone pouring in and out. It usually gave the receptionists headaches from that hot and stuffy air to constantly redirect people, be kind, have a pleasant smile on (which Ira normally lacked when she didn't think that anyone was watching). Being a receptionist was rather tedious, but it needed to be done - it was one of the most revered jobs in the region. They made the call on who got in or was kicked right back out that door. It was a cycle, and every day just restarted it.
Commotion bubbled throughout the air as Ira went behind the desk and veered towards her spot. Sitting down in her desk chair she clicked a button at the back of the regular desktop computer she had access too; the light flickered on and it started to boot up. "You can sit there," she suggested, gesturing to a plush red seat on the other side of the counter.

Naomi settled into the chair. She was surprised, almost jumping out of her seat as she sank into it. She glanced slightly pittifully at Ira, who's chair looked awfully uncomfortable, but she hid it quickly. She didn't know anyone who actually enjoyed being pittied, and she didn't either, as with the rest of her familly, her twin brother Coryn especially. He snapped at anyone who tried to pity or sympathize with him. Her cousin, Xavier, wasn't quite as bad with this, but merely asked politely with a cold look for them to stop.OOC: I'll give it a shot too, but it's kind of hard. I have very little to talk about.
Ira wasn't used to being pitied, and wouldn't really understand why anyone would pity her in the first place. The job wasn't extremely terrible - at some interval it was actually rather a cushiony job. But still, it was tiring, as one would expect. Catering to several people had an emotional and physical lingering of tiredness. Did she have anymore question sheets? No, she'd ran out yesterday - she remembered without even looking. Now she;d have to write them out. The receptionist swiveled to face her desk, pulled out a drawer to her side, and placed her hand inisde; she brought out a black sheet of white printer paper and black ball-pointed pen. She quickly wrote a couple questions down on it, and then held it out to Naomi, the cursive writing being nicely written though so fast. "Just answer these questions. I ran out of the sheets with the questions, but that should be legible enough."
