"Guh," a twelve-year-old groaned, as the boat went over a wave. Oddly enough, she didn't get sea-sick, like most people. Infact, she didn't get Car-sick or Air sick.
She leaned over the boat, looking into the water, her brunette hair falling in the way of her vision. She pulled her hair back with a rubber band, and smiled at her reflection, sighing and leaned over more.
"Whaah, it's such a big boat!" she squeaked, her hazel eyes shifting from one place to another. The girl kept a hold of the bar, and leaned over again, her feet no longer touching the floor. "Awesome," she squealed, watching some pokemon go by.

The boat continued along a little ways down the large ocean until it struck a small speck in the distance. People huddled around the rims of the ferry boat and leaned off the rails, watching as the port came into view. Some whistling erupted throughout the ship as a sign that they had finally made it. As they came closer the outline of other ferry boats popped into view; the ship twirled a little to the side, swerving to meet the landing dock.

Or do you really want to go on without waiting for someone else to join, or to find a partner? You could.

the girl cheered, as the boat got closer to the docks. She ran over to the exit, before other people crouded around. Once the boat landed, and they opened the step way, people trampled the poor girl, knocking her into the freezing cold water. "Remind me to never do that again?" she asked herself, pulling herself onto the dock, shivering and sneezing. after a few minutes of drying her hair with a towl she pulled out of her backpack.
Taking a walk, she noticed a huge white building, a few people going in and out. She walked inside, and looked around. "Uhm.. He-hello?" she called almost in a middle tone.

Since the room was so huge chatter crisscrossed most of in strange diagonals, people crowded by the huge counter off to the side. It would have been virtuously unnatural for anyone to hear Kate by herself. It was yet another busy day at the agency and Ira was bored out of her mind. There really was not much to do besides stamp the obvious letter here, or send this file there - the whole task was tedious and lonely. The long black-haired woman tapped her painted silver nails on the desk, pulling her starchy washed clothes with her other. Ira hated nothing more than to be in that uniform - it was too hot and itchy, a fabric that left her with bitter distaste. She hesitately gazed around the room but no one seemed interested in coming to her cubicle to be registered. It was just as well; she was not the most friendly person as it was.

Kate blinked, and walked slowly over to the older woman. "U-uhm.. E-excuse me?" she took a deep breath. "Is.. Is this wh-where I c-can register to b-become a tr-trainer?" She didn't look to be the kind that talked to people much, and her shyness/embarrassment proved it.
She rocked herself on her heels, taking deep breaths. How could she cope to enter gym battles or contests if she's so shy? She shook her head. She was sure, if the just focused on the attacks the pokemon were using, she was sure she could make it.

Team Rocket really didn't like spending money. Instead of sending Jacob off on his journey on a nice ship, they had decided to pay an old fisherman to take their scientist to Moon Forest in his incredibly tiny motor boat that smelled of fish. And Jacob hated fish. The minute the boat had landed, Jacob scrambled off of it and threw up into a trash can. His superiors would be hearing about about this. Finally he straightened up, taking the cloth the old man handed him and wiped off his face.
After exchanging a few parting words, Jacob hurried off, not glancing back at the old man. I'm going to need to get some supplies was the first thing he thought, glancing around. All the man had were the clothes on his back and his wallet. He hadn't exactly had a bunch of time to pack. He had just found out about his mission yesterday. He had decided to wear his favorite outfit (some said it was his only one), a tight pinstriped brown suit with black high tops.
Hearing what sounded like a young girl calling, Jacob looked around, unable to see anyone. Finally noticing a large building in front of him that looked like someplace people would go, he walked in. But he still couldn't see anyone. Must be hearing things. he thought, running a hand through his short, messy brown hair. But finally, his hazel eyes saw the girl. Smiling kindly, he walked over to her. "Are you okay?" he asked gently, bending down so he was at her level. Jacob couldn't help it, he liked kids. That was probably one of the reasons he hadn't quite his job a long time ago.
Suddenly, Jacob realized they weren't alone. "Oh, excuse me." he told the lady, still smiling. "I didn't realize that anyone was helping her." You really are a big idiot, you should have seen that lady over there, and they both probably think your a creep he thought, still smiling. He really could mask emotions.
ooc: I just realized something, Jacob is acting like some stalker/creep/creepy guys who prefer children to people their own age because he went up to Kate and started to randomly talk to her. xD

Ira, however, was used to the shyness of young trainers they got there in the agency. Kate's embarrassment for being a new trainer was absolutely not new to her in the least. She turned around in her desk chair and folded her hands in her lap to greet the new arrival. "Welcome. I'm Ira. You register into the region here, so yes, this is where we know if you'll be a trainer. Going to Professor Cherrywood's Laboratory makes you an official trainer, though." The young twenty-two year old blinked at Jacob, not really sure what to say to his sudden appearance. "Welcome to you, too. I can help you after her," she said lightly. She swiveled in her chair to face the computer siting in her cubicle, pressing a couple keys to get a type of register-log page. "Alright," she said to Kate, "I just need your name and home region."
